BEHIND THE LENS

I grew up in Bangor, Pennsylvania and graduated from Kutztown University in 2007 with a B.F.A. in Studio Art with a concentration in Photography. In the spring of 2007 I studied abroad for a semester at Temple University’s campus in Tokyo, Japan to further my studies in art and digital photography. When I returned from Japan I started an unpaid summer internship with The Morning Call photo department. After the internship ended I freelanced for the newspaper for about a year. In October of 2008 I was hired as a Multimedia Technician for The Morning Call and in 2013 I was promoted to Visual Journalist.
